Some people believed that local government should reduce the import of international food and try to produce all the items. Although this enhance the country’s economy. Personally, i firmly disagree with that statement. This essay will illustrate and explain my idea.
To begin with, there are various of reasons for the government import foods instead of produce them. Initially, importing food from different continents can diversity items and satisfied residents’ demand. Because of the difference in geographical location, weather and also climate, some countries can witness a difficulty to cultivate plants. Hence importing food oversea is such a popular solution which can supply enough food and satisfy the local consumers.
Furthermore, international foods are beneficial for both farmers and the authorities. Because farmer is a blue collar jobs which can not earn higher income and work hardly for the whole year. Therefore lack of people want to work in farms in future and the amount of food products also reduce. This phenomenon is detrimentally affects on the local’s economy. However, by importing food overseas, prices of agriculture products can raise and attract more investments and human resources which reduce the pressure on national economy.
To sum up, feeding the population with local products is suggested as an important role in the growth of community. However, this strategy leads to the difficulty in satisfying dwellers’ demand and maintain the quantity and quality of food. Consequently importing goods can be believed as a solutions for these issues.
