There is a quote, suggesting that curiosity is a key factor of nowadays inventions, rather than necessity. I definitely support this statement, judging by my personal experience. This essay will outline some reasons of this phenomenon.
First of all, it is a struggle to imagine creating a unique product without being passionate about the field of your business. From my personal point of view most of the world’s inventions were made as a consequence of the flow of inspiration and creativity. Whether the innovation is technological or a social implementation. For instance, improving the connections between people in a society by developing new ways of communication. Accordingly, this type of activity involves a deep dive into the understanding of human psychology and, what is more, a desire to bring positive changes to the social circle a human being lives in.
Second of all, the need to invent something exclusive always comes from the desire of exploration. When scientist or leaders ask themselves: “what if” or “how would that be if..” it automatically becomes the initial step of the hard work, made to research more and more data about the future improvement. Respectively, these questions activate creativity and curiosity, exploring the particular area of study. For example, if there are some struggles a human faces in their routine, they start asking themselves if there is a possibility to improve the current situation. And if a person starts striving for changes, using their own ideas, this leads to the improvement of leadership skills and finally, inventing new ideas.
To sum up, there are many reasons why the curiosity is the main reason the individuals create some particularly new products or ways of thinking. I think, that admiring the field of your work and the desire of widening one’s knowledge are the essential parts of inventions.
