Employees deserve four weeks ‘ worth of holiday to enhance their productivity. I agree with this statement. The following essay will elaborate further on my viewpoint.
First of all, the time off would remarkably improve their well-being. With extended holidays, staff can recharge their energy and spend time with their families and on recreational activities, ultimately reducing their stress levels. Indeed, continuous work without sufficient breaks can lead to burnout, anxiety, and other mental health issues. One prime example is summer vacation, which is only in weeks yet undeniably relieves the burden resting on workers’ shoulders. Therefore, after returning from the well-deserved break, employees feel refreshed and can work and brainstorm with novel ideas, which can largely boost their productivity and performance at work.
Secondly, the break would also enhance job satisfaction and dedication to the establishment. As the staff get the time off they deserve, they would feel valued and well-rested, fostering a positive win-win relationship between the company and themselves. Additionally, the sense of self-worth may reduce turnover rates, which is costly and highly disruptive. Moreover, eventually, the efficiency and the firm’s development, in the long run, would significantly fall due to the lack of workforce. Hence, long breaks can effectively retain experienced and satisfied employees, benefiting any organization.
In conclusion, I concur that time off lasting at least four weeks is advisable for every company to ensure a better quality of work, due to the needed time for relaxation and the gratitude staff have for their firms.
