Environment is essential for our life with its all aspects but simultaneously humans are a real menace for it. However, it does not mean that governments and individuals can not take several measures to mitigate environmental problems.
One of these problems is the expansion of cities which leads to some other detrimental activities such as deforestation, overusing of lands and other natural resources, habitat destruction. It is inevitable that all these activities and implementations significantly damage the environment. Pollution is also one of the ultimate problems that negatively affects the environment. Due to modern world industrialization and technological advancement, high levels of carbon emission and other harmful gases are transmitted to air. As a result, this condition causes air pollution that can lead to undesirable consequences, even some respiratory diseases. Most of the factories, for example, produce different kinds of products that consist of many harmful substances and generate a certain amount of carbon dioxide per production.
To counteract those environmental problems, governments and individuals ought to take some steps. If governments utilize their natural resources more efficiently and implement more eco-friendly strategies, they can minimize environmental damage. For instance, some developed countries use special types of devices and equipment for building and construction that remarkably reduce damage to the environment. Likewise, individuals can be more environmentally friendly and propose some solutions regarding this. Collectively boycotting car usage can promote a healthier environment. As an example, we can emphasize more bicycle usage in some countries. By doing this, people can significantly diminish fuel consumption and the number of toxic gases that stems from different modes of transportation.
In summary, although people mostly damage the environment, these kinds of problematic issues can be tackled by governments and individuals.
