It often claimed that parents who tend to send their kids to private schools should not need to pay taxes that help the school system situation to improve. I strongly disagree with this idea because that will limit the improvement of education and increase the taxes on families who send their children to public schools.
First and foremost, reducing taxes for private school attendees would impact on the government of essential funds needed to enhance school infrastructure and develop educational approaches. If the budget allocated for state schools decreases, the authorities plans to change the general standard of education will fall. For example, a recent study in Ireland showed that cutting taxes for the private sector led to a significant drop in public school budgets, which eventually reduced the competence of school teachers and damaged the public’s trust in the system. Consequently, students would be forced to face difficults educational environments.
Furthermore, this policy would increase the financial strain on families who send their children to public schools. Many parents favor public education simply because they cannot afford extra educational fees. If wealthy families stop contributing to the state system, the government might be forced to increase standard taxes on lower-income houses to cover their needs. For instance, when a similar financial restructuring between private and public sectors was introduced in Lebanon, it created massive economic challenges for my family, ultimately led me to leave my school and travel back to Syria to find affordable education.
In conclusion, I completely disagree with this suggestion because it is clear that will affect on development the school rules and whole state and will appear a new economic issues for public school students.
