People are warning that global warming is the worst issue for our territory. Global warming is the slow increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere. This problem is caused by many variables including greenhouse gases and plastic waste so that the government should use an alternative energy and educating people about the dangers of plastic waste and how to recycle it which will be discussed in this essay.
The causes of global warming are greenhouse gases and plastic waste. Greenhouse gases occur due to the burning of petroleum. The amount of petroleum that is burned over the decade produce gases that will impacts the atmosphere. For instance, coal fuel and the burning of natural gas. In addition, non-recyclable waste such as plastic and Styrofoam is also another factor of global warming. Methane gas which comes from plastic exposed to sunlight is one of the main causes of climate change, this is related to increasing global warming.
Some possible solutions to this problem are using an alternative energy and educating the danger of plastic waste among people. By using alternative energy can reduce the use of fossil fuel energy (petroleum and coal) that cause global warming. Alternative energy that can be used by humans as a substitute for non-renewable energy sources is wind energy, solar energy, and so on. Moreover, the next step in fighting global warming is educating the societies about the risk of plastic waste and urging them to reduce the use of non-recyclable waste. This way, people will be more consider of the environment and will not overuse or destroy its resources.
