Global warming is one of the most harmful and life-threatening dangers on our planet. It’s caused due to the increase of carbon consumption and deforestation. This issue can be tackled by mitigating carbon emissions and stopping deforestation through strict policies by governments.
It is now more than ever that carbon dioxide and deforestation are resulting in a global warming crisis. It has been happening in the past years—however—at slower rates, but the impact didn’t appear in a clear and strong way as it does today. With the rise of the industrial revolution and the increased consumption of fuel, gas, and carbon, the environment has been affected greatly, and the global temperature has increased significantly. Also, the acts of deforestation for the purpose of agriculture and urban expansion have also played a great role in impacting the planet negatively and increasing the world’s temperature.
This problem can be fixed by mitigating the level of carbon dioxide through turning to environment-friendly energy, which is electricity and solar energy. Another solution is to stop deforestation immediately and start providing more eco-friendly solutions in compliance with the scientific standards established in this regard. All this can only be applied—in my opinion—through strict policies and legislation from the government. It is the government alone that has the authority to release lawful policies for strict implementation that can have a large-scale impact.
In conclusion, global warming is a serious challenge to our very existence, a challenge that is caused by the usage of carbon and the acts of deforestation, a problem that can be contained through government laws and policies.
