It is true that railways play a significant role in the transportation network for human life. It has been suggested that governments could enhance their railway systems by allocating funds. Personally, I strongly agree with this idea. In this essay, I will present arguments to support my opinion.
Generally speaking, there are various reasons why people believe that governments should invest in extensive railway infrastructure. The primary argument supporting this idea is that it provides a fast transportation system. For instance, trains make people’s lives easier, allowing them to reach their workplaces in a short amount of time and with minimal difficulty. Another key argument in support of this idea is the economic perspective. To illustrate, trains serve as an outstanding means of transporting goods such as raw materials, garments, and food accessories, contributing to business growth.
On the other hand, there are several arguments in favor of governments focusing on railways. Perhaps the strongest of these is that trains help reduce traffic jams. For example, if individuals are provided with good opportunities such as reliable cost and sufficient seating, they may prefer trains over other vehicles. Hence, this would alleviate overcrowding on public buses and in cars. Last but not least, from an environmental perspective, modern technologically advanced trains use electricity, contributing to a decrease in air pollution and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, which not only benefits the environment but also reduces the risk of human diseases such as heart attacks and cancer.
In conclusion, trains constitute an extremely efficient transport system that is highly relevant to modern society. I strongly believe that governments should prioritize investments in railways.
