Many people believe that group or team activities can develop critical thinking abilities more effectively than individual activities. In my opinion,I agree with this view , as a part of team activities and also its impact on your role in society, where you can are invaluable in improve your leadership skills and build communication with others, which will play a key part in your success in future.
It is my view that through communication skills participants can express their ideas clearly and listen to others which is really important in groups. Team activities also involve problem solving that requires understanding how big an issue is which are critical life experiences. Moreover, working in group works is beneficial for leadership as well as impotence of following principles when needed. These skills are essential because the ability to be effectively trained in group management is the result of hardship in teamwork. Additionally, it will affect teams success because it builds a sense of responsibility and confidence through what they show the importance of dependability.
In contrast, some people claim that solo activities can be more productive because they focus on personal discipline and personal growth. They say that working alone helps them develop self motivation and the skill of problem solving independently. However, I do not find this argument particularly useful because in a real world environment teamwork participants can easily collaborate with other partners. Furthermore, solo work rarely provides how to work with different personalities on a team and increases the adaptability and flexibility that is necessary in an organization.
In conclusion, I completely agree with this statement that group work teaches more essential life skills than solo activities. This is because they teach leadership, communication and problem solving qualities that are invaluable in both professional development roles. Therefore , while individual activities have their benefits, the skills gained through teamwork are generally more effective in real world situations.
