According to the British people when someone reached at mature age they prefer to live in the oldage home where there are all staff to take-care. However, some individual disagrees with this argument and authorities has to provide financial support to the old ones. This essay will explain the situations with proper example before presenting my own point of view.
On the one hand, there are many reasons the family members should take care than parents. First and the foremost is close-knit family have just facility to look after their senior family members because they can teach and everything, so, it is responsibility to get time from their hectic schedule to spend time with guardians as well as feel more happy and secure. Moreover, mature people acquire proper care and monthly test. For instance, in joint family people prefer to take care their parents by themselves.
On the other hand, the government should provide financial support because some people are not stable. As everyone work and pay taxes so at certain age citizens get retirement pension to fulfill their needs and cure the serious illness. Hence, due to this old masses get proper healthcare. For example, in foreign countries, authorities deduced the taxes from the salary and give a lot of benefit related to health problem such as free dental treatment as well as twice a year medical checkup.
In conclusion, according to me, both play important role because government should offer majority of the cost because it is social responsibility and many families cannot afford it alone. Nevertheless, families should still play an vital emotional as well as supportive role in the care of their elderly relatives.
