Therefore, this implementation of numerous skill professions could lead to enhancement in the research and development sector, which possibly leads to better innovations for the industries’ progression, residing in the prosperous economy.
However, this may lead to several drawbacks not only for the students but also for society. The academic stress will debate the focus on the studies. When they are overstressed, they think to find other such as drugs interesting, resulting the failure not only in education but also in well-being. Moreover, this generation will possibly lack physical fitness as they are only involved with academic activities. Thereby making them prone to mental and physical diseases. Research done in Sri Lanka predicted that 40% of the students who are made focused on academic studies without giving a balanced life on leisure and studies are most likely to suffer from anxiety. Therefore, the majority of the society will be more likely to lack physical and mental fitness.
