In many countries, for two or more months schools are closes for summer holidays. Majority of people says that the long holidays is good for students and teachers, like they can relax more, and came back to school with more energy. In my opinion, long school holidays are not good for academic performance moreover, students are might forget the lessons whithout repetition.
The countries with developed education like Japan are usually performs short school holidays. Long brake from school for students are might get them feel unaccustomed to school besides that, teachers have to do some exrtra lessons because, children are forgot learnings in three months. Despite of that, in this days teachers relax and calm his nerves and came back to new semester with fresh mind but, I belive that the long rest is not necessary at all.
Japan were one of the most developed countries in the whole world, nowadays reamaining the same, it is mainly become from smart culture of this country. People are smart because of smart educating services. In summer, shools are closes for 30-40 days, in this couple of weakends they had to do homeworks. It keeps their mind in case and, they don’t forget the past lessons.
In conclusion, in my opinion, short holidays are best because, in that time they not forget the past lessons and keeps their mind in tone eventhough, for theachers this time in enough for taking rest and calm nerves. However, in long time brake people can travel, meet with each other, and just take a rest from school.
