In some recent research, many nations note that a group of student dislike studying science subjects at university. In my opinion, there must have specific reasons for this problem, furthermore; this can lead some various of side effects for the society.
The most important reason why many student do not want to learn science in university is the hard of this subject is. Some students do not have talent with some subject relating to caculate, logic such as math, or science. So, for that, they refuse to study science as their main subject and prefer studying some other subject which suit for them and no need to think too much. In addition, other reason that I think is about science is seen to be a dangerous subject,moreover; science do not suit for their dream job that they focus on. For example, many report have recorded many accident in some university about chemical explosion, or the physical accidents. This may cause nervous, scary, anxiety for student to choose science as their subject in university. Moreover, if their future job that they want to be related to social like writer, lawyer, reporter, etc, they do not need choose science for their study’s subject in university.
Nevertheless, this makes a consequence behind. First, student may lack of science knowledge lead to the lost of the basic skills. Science is important to the society, contribute, and affect to people life. For instance, In some earthquake, we learn about how we can escape from it by learning about how it works, or how to survive in forest if you get lost by learning about poision mushroom, finding fresh water, and even more. Next, this also cause a lack of sciencetist who research about science topic. For example, we need scientist to discorver about elements on the Earth, how to preserve the environment, how to fly to the moon, or how to reduce the CO2. All of these example take a important role in social daily life, and decision the human existsion.
In conclusion, for all countries around the world, it is important for encouraging student to learn about science subject in university. By giving more chance and studying opportunity such as study aboard prizes, scholarships from government or improve science education to attract more student study which allow to increase the amount of student choose study science.
