Many countries experience increase in the numbers of people suffering from stress. It could be byproduct of constantly increasing humans activity in all of the field this days. Such a phenomen could lead to negative outcomes in the long run.
We, people, are constantly developing, and so are our daily activities. If we would to compare, for example, a massive of infromation that one cosumes, we would see, that modern day humans could be exposed to more data in just one day, that someone in late 18th century during their whole life. While this is, indeed, a great thing, that we could know more and more, this is no doubt makes us much more stressfull and even depressed sometimes. Having such amounts of news, articles and other social medias’ information indeed creats a huge burden for one’s mind, causing stress sufferings. Moverover, our working style is constantly changes – from having to perform mainly manual labor just few hundreds years ago, to work mostly intelectually this days. From one point of view, one could say, this took a lot of hard working hours from people, but other would argue, that it has added a new problem – stress. I would agree, that nowdays people are more and more suffering from stress, as their work’s burden increases and requires much more of the brain activity to achieve some results.
One side of the story are the causes, but the other one is the mesures, to fight with such a phenomen. As it seems that the main cause is one work’s burden, we could aim to decrease it, making lifes of those easier and less stressfull. Governments all over the earth are aims to do so: for example France has had limited their working week to just 35 hours, while Australia introduced a law, prohibitting any demand from the employer during official weekend. Those mesures seem to be helping to work with one of stress causes.
In conclusion, stress could be a byproduct of increased human activity, more presicely work load, while leads to more stressfull life. Governments are already targeting the issue by different lawsfull mesures, such as limiting work-week, or excluding unnessesary botherings from employers during workers’ rest hours.
