In the contemporary world, the number of young people prefer to pursue vocation training instead of university diplomas is increasing. Some view this trend positively, while others see it as a disadvantage. In this essay, I will discuss both view and gives my opinion.
On the one hand, there are several advantages of vocational training to young people, such as vocational training focuses on practical, job-specific skills. Therefore, young people can improve it with this way and students can become ready for employment much faster. Also, vocational education equips young people with practical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace, such as electricians, mechanics, plumbers, chefs, technicians and healthcare assistants. Moreover, vocation courses are often shorter than university degrees. That is why, students can start earning money earlier.
On the other hand, Some professions require university degrees. Therefore, most young people cannot apply job without university degrees, such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, researchers and many managers need higher academic qualifications. Also, Vocational training may therefore restrict career choices. Because, vocation training focuses only one side, that is why young generations cannot build career easily. Also, university provides deeper theoretical and analytical knowledge. Students can improve their logical mindset. This can make it harder for some workers to move into researchor management positions.
I would say the trend is generally positive, but vocation training should not replace university education.
In conclusion, vocation training is highly beneficial because it provides practical skills and young people can enter employment quickly. However, university education remains essential for professions that require extensive knowledge.
