Band 5+: In many countries, the traditional extended family structure is becoming less common, with more people living in nuclear families or alone. What are the primary issues arising from this shift in family dynamics, and what solutions can address the challenges faced by individuals and communities?

In many regions of the world, many individuals are preferring to live in a short family, instead of living in a joint family. The troubles, which are faced by public are having less workforce, and more dependents in the family creating a financial burden on a persons who works. There are many viable options for persons to handle the difficulties occurred from these changes in the family making.

For instance, if we look at China, in the 90s, there were rules for everyone to be in a nuclear family. But these rules, lead to many detrimental consequences, which china is now trying to tackle, such as, in the present era china is lacking young generation. And the growth and child birth rates are very less in the countries who have implemented these rules as china did. Therefore, having a joint family is very much positive for communities.

On the other hand, a substantial number of citizens argue that, individual family has more advantages and it is more flexible. Just because of these benefits, young generation is choosing to have smaller family unit . That is why, because all they want is independent life, easy decision making, and having the financial independence. But, they don’t know that, how much love and support they can get from their relatives, while living together.

In conclusion, there should be proper education awareness to everyone, about the family structures. Which can be given to the adoloscents, during their school times. And there should be no any restrictions about the structures of families. Because, joint domestic units promote growth and strength for economy.
