Nowadays, in many nations, people often suffer from health issues due to eating unhealthy foods rather than home cooked foods. To prevent this, it is compulsory for government authorities to increase taxes on junk food. I strongly agree with the statement.
It is obvious that, eating junk food causes serious health problems such as heart issues, obesity and many more. There are a number of reasons why people choose to eat outside. Firstly, fast food like french fries and burgers are quick meals, so it doesn’t take long to make and it is convenient to eat anywhere and it costs no more than 2 dollars. That is why individuals take excessive fast food multi times a day. However, most fast food chains use cheap quality oils and other ingredients, which have a low number of protein and carbs. Often, people get sick after eating that . For example, most children in the USA suffer from obesity , and are bullied by their fellows. i think the government should take action to help people’s health improvement.
Certainly, government officials should increase tax on fast food , who sell junk foods and low calorie items such as burgers and pizzas. It means, all the restaurants to increase their price to overcome the tax , which means individuals ignore the costly food and find alternatives such as fruits and green vegetables. The health improvement sector should encourage citizens to avoid bad foods, and get highly processed products such as fruits and vegetables which have a high level of vitamins and enhance personal life and make our immunity strong. moreover, government leaders should reduce a tax on such products which improves our help and thus people tend to purchase that kind of products.
In conclusion, health issues become primarily due to junk food and detrimental people’s life. That’s why the government should take imperative actions such as , increase high tax on junk items and encourage their citizens to avoid bad quality foods and acquire fruits and vegetables which have numerous vitamins. This will lead to a higher rate of life expectancy.
