Band 4+: In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in. What are the reasons for this? How can people research this?

There is a growing number of people that have interest in the history of building the reside in. This essay seeks to explain the possible motivations behind this desire to understand the history and ways on how people can learn the history.

The first logical reason on why people are intrested is that it relates to their safety and Comfortability of living in the building. Houses and buildings are handed over for many reasons. Therefore, knowing, those could artist in preventing some unwanted problems. Many houses are sold due to water or electrical problems. The sturdiness of buiding is also important part as it is declining over years. Therefore, learning when the buiding it emerged is important to avoid some future issues.

The second motivations on this matter is related to aura of the house. Many believes that every action and any emergence in the house would leave aura, whether it is negative or positive. Therefore, people are convinced to research more on the history of building they live in because it might leave unwanted aura. This matter includes some ghost story that many people believe that it would effect their lives.

The last motivation people have is possibly just a matter of curiosity. As human being, people have the tendency to be curious on many things surrounding their lives. Thus, it is also possible that these people also have desire to learn about the history of their buildings.

Severals ways on how to research the history can be mentioned. Firstly, people can ask the previous owner. However, some people are quite secretive about this because they have urgency to sell the building. However people can always ask their neighboor, Lastly urband legend in the neighbor could give as some clues in the history of building we live in.
