Band 4+: In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in. What are the reasons for this? How can people research this?

Many citizens nowadays want to know and get curious about the history of the residences or towers in which they reside. There could be several reasons why some want to know more about the idea behind the construction of a particular design of the house to renovate it and maybe if they have any threat of abnormal activities. The essay will further discuss this in detail additionally projecting the method to solve such an issue.

To begin with, due to modernization and increased standard of living in current times renovation of homes has become a trend. Many times people transform the whole face of the house and to do this process, architects asks about the details of how and which materials is used as well as the reasons for building certain area in a particular direction which is sometimes concluded as meaningless by normal people. For example, there is a house that has a large living room which was a bakery production area a year ago. In this

area, the baker used to make bread, cake, and delicious pastries. So, now this area which although was a part of the house has a kitchen backside and two bedrooms upstairs. For this reformation, the builder or contractor reported about what necessary alterations are possible.

Moreover, Sometimes people do have abnormal activities and the threat of ghosts due to which they want to get information about the residences they live in. For instance, there was a report in the newspaper yesterday that a family who shifted just two days before was found burnt alive in the house and letters of unknown were found on the floors considering that the villa is abandoned for ghosts.

To know about the history of our house, we must contact our elders or neighborhood elders people who would know about the concept of its construction. We may also know about the building from the builders themselves. As technology is still not that advanced, that we at any time can rely on just documents, we according to me shall not trust it without proof.

To recapitulate, Citizens may want to give transformation to the house or they sense any danger which could be some of the reasons that they learn about a residence’s past.
