History is a crucial part of our lives. Historic events have shaped our lives in to what it has become today. It’s fascinating to learn about prehistoric events or explore ancient artifacts. More so buildings that have a emotional significance to its owners can have a warmnes to their atmosphere. Steping in to an enviorment that has a significance to its previous owners feels more lively.

Humans are passionate creatures we have to feel in order to trust their surroundings especially an intemate place such as their house. People have startes to do look inspect their homes backgrounds the reasoning for this is based on curiosity. In order to understand the structure, to learn about when or why it was built or who was it built for. They want to know to understand the history behind the details in their homes. In addition this research can lead to learning about durability of the building which is an important factor to people who live in countries that are prone to earthquakes.

Also since humans tend to form an atachment to their living spaces that leads to them formibg a type of connection to its previous owners. Nostalgia is a big factor in learning near future adults tend to get nostalgic or they go back to their childhoods when they see a home from the eightes even the seventies. Its kind of like experiencing time travel to the past. Which can feel odd to think about other people living in yoyr space years ago.There can be an uneasy feeling to learn about the past but it can feel satisfying at times.

My grandma lives in an old building near the city centre they lived there for many years there was a very famous priest living in her apartment before she moved and he left some books and writings in the apartment before he left. She found out about this by engaging with her neighbor.

Whereas for the research that can be conducted could be made by talking to a landlord or the neighbors in the area about your buildings past. If its a busy area there might be some information on the internet or maybe even a book at a local library. There are various ways to learn about the past.
