In some mindset young people are always thinking that they can do everything if they work enough hard because adults say so. Some people state that this vision encourage children to improve their way of thinking whereas others underlines the possibles outcomes of such a method.

First of all in a first level of thinking it is obvious that encouraging young people to start a new project can be benifit for them. In fact during the project the child will open his mind towards a new domain. This brings to the child a lot of competences so it can help the child to have a better understanding of the world and he can project himself into his future. For instance : when I was young I wanted to be a builder and my parents bought me some lego that help me to developed my 3D vision and that taught me it would definitely not be my future job.

So encouraging children can help them plan for the futur and develop their mind but fragile children exist and are an important part of children.

Secondly , if the child fails during his project he will be able to close in on himself. That is because children are very sensitive and the failure is not a part of their underdevelopped mind. Pop culture also have an effect on children mind. Indeed by showing beautiful people suceed all their projects pop culture show that everything is possible to children but the reality is more complex than that and children tend to be reluctant when they understand that the reality is not what are showed in movies. For example : I have a friend that project to go to a private engineering school since years because he saw entrepreneurs passed trough this school but at the end he can’t go their because of the price. So encouraging a children too early can demotivate him if he fails during his projects.

Some people believe that schools should teach practical skills, while others argue that academic subjects are more important. Discuss both views and give your opinion."
