It is widely believed that traditional museums should use statues and something physical to attract visitor, others think that in this age they must provide new experiences for visitor and using the technology in their side. from my perspective using virtual reality acquire visitors real experience as the incient.
on the one hand, many individuals see that meseums should illustrate physical arifacts like statue and tools that the ancient empire or civilisation used, it acquire opportunities to visitors see the real object that they used hundred or even thousand years before. for example in my city Annaba, we have a romain meseum i have visited it before, there are plenty tools and leaders’ statues.
on the other hand, the others want to try living special experience using new technology as the virtual reality, this one can make visitors see everything like they are in that time. For example they can generate a virtual clips for visitors and make them trying some activities and see how ancients were living. i think this opinion better than the first one because want to try living in another time period.
In conclusion, some people prefer real object made by hand and look like the real one, but i think a better option is using technology to try somethings new and try to live in different time period.
