Nowadays, technology is developing very fast, and all vehicles such as cars, trucks, and buses can be driven by computers instead of people. Many people think that this new technology has both good and bad sides, but I believe that the advantages are stronger.
The main advantage is safety. Most traffic accidents are caused by human mistakes, such as speeding, using a phone while driving, or being tired. If cars are controlled by computers, there will be fewer accidents on the road. Another benefit is comfort. People can feel relaxed and do other activities such as reading, sleeping, or studying while travelling. Driverless vehicles can also make public transport and deliveries faster and cheaper because computers know maps better than people and can work all the time without a break. Another positive point is that companies do not have to pay drivers, which helps the economy.
However, there are some disadvantages. Many drivers could lose their jobs, which may cause unemployment. Also, computers can have problems with viruses or be hacked, which can lead to dangerous situations. Some people may also feel nervous or scared to sit in a car without a real driver.
In conclusion, even though driverless vehicles may bring some risks and job losses, they will probably make travel safer and more comfortable. Therefore, I think the advantages of driverless transport are greater than the disadvantages.
