Nowadays, some people argue that using animals for food, clothing, or medicine is unnecessary. However, I believe that animals still play a crucial role in the usage for food, clothing, or medicine as alternatives cannot fully replace them.
On the one hand, animals remain important in the food industry, since they are crucial for our life. For example, animal products such as meals or eggs provide vitamins B12, which helps to keep the body’s blood healthy. Moreover, many cultures such as Kazakh or Chinese used to consume meat made of animals, however, if the consumption of these foods reduces the population can face problems with health or even lead to death.
On the other hand, animals provide medical resources and materials that nowadays cannot be replaced by alternatives such as synthetic materials. Leather materials, for example, have qualities that synthetic cannot match such as warmth. Furthermore, in medicine, research involving animals has been developed from ancient times. For instance, testing for treatments and studying disease often rely on animals.
In conclusion, animals are still vital for food, clothing, or medicine, because they provide unique qualities that alternatives cannot replace.
