Nowadays, it is increasingly common to use the internet to gather information rather than using physical notebooks as it was in the past. Although, it has several demerits, in my opinion this is a positive overall.

Many are opposing this view on account of number of reasons. To begin with, physical books provides distranctionless reading experience. Individuals would be able to concentrate more in books rather than digital screens. This is substantiated through the study conducted by the MG university students in 2019.This observation resulted that, out of thousand students they analysed, over seven hundred recommended to use text books over online platforms.

On the other hand, the benefits of using the internet for getting knowledge are many. Firstly, it take less time to find information about certain topics from the web instead of going through books. For example, today the spreading of news became fast as compared to the past as a result of the internet. Secondly, convenience of using these modern technology is another factor. Carrying books during on the go is not a practical method. Internet can provide informations about anything through smartphones or personal computers which are portable.

To encapsulate, keeping a physical book is a great idea to aquire knowledge. In my perspective using internet has more advantages which outways the disadvantages.
