Nowadays, many people claim that pupils must learn national history which is more significant rather than international history at the schools. I totally disagree, school students have to learn not only national history, but also international history.
On the one hand , local history is essential for students who study at the schools because they have to know about their ancestors history. They can know their roots and learn their mistakes. As a result, students may not repeat their faults . it helps to increase patriotism.
From another angel, world history plays a cruitial role the lives of students and mindsets. When they learn history, they do not just read it . Wiseversa, students learn about inventions and how did people develop in this stage and what did reasons cause it . World history helps them to develop their critical and analytical thinking. In conclusion, both world and local history are really vital for students at the schools . Local history support them to increase proud of their country and nationality. When it comes to world history , it can contribute to develop not only critical, but also analytical thinking to students. In my opinion, government should balance that studying either world history and local history.
