It is believed that providing university places to a considerable number of youngsters is unnecessary and useless. I largely disagree with this view because of the potential benefits that universities can give to young people.
To begin with, tertiary education is an aspect that secures youngsters’ successful future. Universities are a pertinent case in point; teaching people theoretical knowledge and strengthening it in practice, they tend to provide convenient conditions that can help improve people’s career ladder. Moreover, with the help of university diplomas, people could work in top-notch fields, such as medicine, law, and others. Those fields demand a university diploma, as a lot of responsibility is needed to become involved. In the long run, individuals are more likely to be enrolled in jobs related to those fields with university diplomas, documents that prove you have a professional understanding in a certain area.
Furthermore, countries themselves should encourage their residents to pursue education in universities for several reasons. Encouraging people to get a higher education could benefit the country by bolstering its position on a global market. For instance, by following this advancement, governments would recruit a substantial number of people in scientific areas, and it would be more likely to find geniuses if this improvement is adopted. By becoming prominent in certain fields, such as technology or artificial intelligence, the country is more likely to popularize its image and attract people from every corner of the world.
In conclusion, I do not concur with the notion that a high percentage of young people should not be provided with education in university, since universities have potential merits, ranging from giving young people a chance to work in top-notch fields to globally strengthening the country’s name.
