In previous years, well-known pop and athletic stars made over millions of dollars. However, regular professions such as surgeons, firefighters and the police have a much lower salary. This essay will demonstrate my viewpoint on the problem of injustice in the amount of money the representatives of different jobs earn. In my opinion, it is completely unfair, to pay less to firefighters and people in the medical field who save lives every single day in various ways. Their work is extremely dangerous and responsible, especially of firefighters. They rescue residents from burning buildings full of toxic smoke. Medics obviously save lives as well, but not in such tough conditions as firefighters. However, they must know how to treat patients properly, which is exceedingly complicated. That is why they have to be paid adequately
At the same time, pop stars somehow earn much more money, though they neither save lives nor working in dangerous conditions. Celebrities just entertain their audience, but it is not enough to have such enormous salaries. I find it ridiculous.
On the other hand, I think, sports stars deserve it, because they represent and fight for the interests of their country and encourage people to take up sports. They promote healthy eating habits and being in good shapes. Looking at them fans think, ” I want to be like him or her”. As a result, people are cheerful, fit and thankful to their idols
To sum up, taking into a count my arguments, occupations connected with saving lives are unpaid despite the fact, that they are really risky and challenging. Celebrities, on the other hand , are often overpaid, with a few exceptions.
