At this time it is true that the bicycle is being used less and less as a preferred mode of transport, despite the fact that it is advantageous. This essay intends to analyze some reason of this phenomenon and also suggest ways to motivate people to use more bicycles.

There are many reasons why people not using bicycles in today’s world. The first reason is that life has become busy and everyone had any type of work. Second reason, is that other mode of transports are more effective and time saving, as per current situation, the roads are so full of traffic that’s why bicycle are not safe for transport and ride. Another reason for not using bicycle is the unfavorable weather. At current time people wants to show off their status by their car and motorbike, but riding a bicycle does not solve this purpose.

There are many ways to motivate people to use the bicycle. The government should make cycling safer and more inviting. Ministry of particular country should make new parts for cycling. In Denmark, there are 19,000 km of cycling tracks, as a result of that many people of Denmark ride bicycles. Government should increase the price of fuel to motivate cycling.

Furthermore, people could be made aware of the benefits of cycling. Media such as TV, Instagram, Facebook, and etc. could be used for this purpose. Government and social workers should make a holdings and posters which can instruct the benefits of cycling.

There are many reasons why people do not use the bicycle, but some effective steps could be taken by the government to promote the usage of bicycle.
