It is true that the world moving modernization fast nowadays, as a result of this, cities are trying to digitalize the controlling of trafiic system which gives less priority on the walking people and the cyclist. In this eassy I will discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of this new innovation.
In general, the traffic system is controlled by the traffic police manually. In this way, police had to stand on the road for a long time, which cuases diseases like high blood pressure, hearing problem, loosing temper etc. For example, a research has shown that in Bangladesh, every year 78% of traffic police got sickness due to sound pollution and air pollution during traffic duty. If they install the digital traffic system then it can be beneficial for the on duty person. Additionally, the service holder can give more time with their family members.
On the other hand, there is some cons as well on this intervention. People who walk on the road and who ride on the bi-cycle do not get enough focus because of the smart installation of the traffic system. As a result, people get injured and even lost their lives due to the unwanted accidents on roads. For instance, a report showed, last year total 280 people have died from all over the country due to neglency of the smart system, which is really concerning for the citizens. Thus, proper installment with capable man power can be a viable sollution for this issue.
In conclusion, giving relief to the traffic personal can be a crucial way by installing smart system in this sector. However, it should priotize the people and other commuter as well.
