Climate change has become a serious concern in many costal areas as coral bleaching and extreme weather events negetively affected not only number of visitors but also the livelihoods of communities who are fully dependend on tourism. To reverse this trend , governments and local business must prioratise environment restoration, economic diversification and build climate resiliant infrastructure.
Cloral bleaching and the destruction of the ocean ecosystem is one of the main reason of tourists declinetion. Raising temperature raise coral bleaching ,it can make coral die if the situation persist further .Coral attract divers and other wild life explorators which increase the attraction of that place , when tourists experience that corals are not that attractive they will not come .Many fishers catch coral and others ocean assets to sell them but this ultimately affect the water habitant .Tourists are also responsible sometimes, many of them through waste in the sea beaches also in ocean which negatively affect the image of that place plus destruct the under water lifes. Most importantly, the rising wave of ocean become risky for many visitors, accidents and missing cases mostly demotivat them to visit .
The combination of governments, local business and individuals can reverse this situation. Government should enforce environmental laws and take extra care on waste management .They must ensure better climate resiliant infrastructure like hetels, retaurents, trasportation and the roads, cause not only the place but also the surroundings of that place attract the tourists.Local businesses should encourage diversify economics like they should engage themselves with other jobs rather than only tourism and make sure no one destroy the underwater habitants .Individuals or tourists must watch their behaviour ,they should not through their waste in beaches and ensure they are not the reason of ocean destruction.
In conclusion, although raising temperature, human behaviours, neglegence of goverments and local authorities reduce the tourism this situation may reverse if governments, local businesses and most importantly individuals ensure proper law enforcement, diversify business and better infrastructure .
