The disparity between the rich and the people from marginalized communities is increasing in many nations. A large number of individuals firmly believe that the state authorities should take steps whereas a large number of people argue that it is the responsibility of individuals to take care of themselves. I certainly agree to the point that it is the accountability of both the government as well as the local citizens.
Policy makers have some duties towards the citizens of the country especially for the disadvantaged people. They are suffering from hunger as well as homelessness. However, they should invest more to alleviate these challenges like foods, home, treatment which are the crucial needs of mankind. There are some necessary steps that should be immediately taken by the state authorities. If not a myriad of challenges will rise in the long run.Firstly, they need to ensure food sufficiency.Secondly, they need to increase employment opportunities to make sure they are getting a way to earn for themselves.
On the other hand, individuals should also be liable for not giving enough efforts to make their livelihood better. They should focus more on education especially for the children. They send their kids to work hoping for a big amount of wage which is creating a barrier between the wealthy and poor. Due to child labor the minors are deprived of going to educational institutions. Moreover,to get out of poverty line they have to focus on something that will help them improving their lifestyle. For instance , education, seminars etc. Some of them remain associated with drugs and other illegal activities.For taking drugs some of them suffer from fatal disease and if he/she is the only earning member of the family it is a great loss for them leading to poor economic situation.
Overall in conclusion both the government as well as the concerned citizens are liable to improve their lifestyle and a better society.
