It is widely argued that individuals who drop out of the school tend to be more successful than people who graduate. This happens because of various reasons. Individual’s success in not measured on the certificates he holds but there are other factors that contribute to be successful.as discussed below
A major reason contributing to this aspect is that the individuals who complete their studies focus on a straight pathway towards a job whereas, college dropout has abundant opportunities to be successful in terms of money. Going through a straight path causes stagnation in generating income. For instance, instead, an engineer who works full- time earns ing money from a single source whereas, a laundry business man has unlimited potential of multiplying his income through scaling and expanding. This is because job guarantees only one source of income. This leads to spending majority of time spending on one job than finding opportunities to double their income. As a result the person who has not completed his education tends to become more successful.
Secondly, in order to be successful, a person needs to learn skills help him in developing financial skills. College dropout has plethora of time to learn skill which makes him better at financial earnings. For example, a trader who learned this skill at home earns significantly higher than a young individual who graduated as a doctor. This is because, developing skills are necessary to make money than having multiple graduate certificates. Therefore, under educated has many routes to learn skills in order to make money. Consequently, the person who does not complete his education gains financial independence than a graduate certificate holder.
To conclude, even though a person holds multiple graduate certificates and holds and authoritative position at a workplace, they may not be having a lavish life, because of his hectic work schedule and limited exposure to learn skills which leads to multiplied income. Hence, skills allow person to expand their source of income whereas, the completion of education helps them to advance in their career.
