In my opinion, the smartphones are necessary in the different situations. Every day smartphones help people to solve any problems and tasks.
The first reason is that people use them phones not only for fun. Every year a lot of jobs and educations become online. People need to check emails, write documents, chatting with colleagues, have online meetings outside the office. In addition, a lot of students study at school or university online. And they have to be online during the day. Also, some people learn languages by modern apps. It helps them save money and time. So, smartphones make us work and study more productively and faster.
The second reason is that phones help us do our chores more easier. For example, we do not need to write the shopping list on paper, which we can forget at home. We just need to write this on the phone and open it in the store. Furthermore, people can order groceries or everything online by phone. It is convenient and less stressful.
Finally, I believe this is very important for our safety. People need to help every day and calling to police or ambulance can save someone’s life. Children can call their parents when they lost or when they stayed alone at home. Moreover, parents can track a child in the special apps. In my opinion, this is truly necessary these days, especially in large cities.
In conclusion, I don’t think we should ban smartphones in public. Only one device makes our lives more easier, safer and really convenient.
