Hunting is a serious and growing problem in today’s world. Killing an animal is illegal and unethical it leads to serious environmental consequences like the extinction of animals. There are numerous reasons for the mentioned topic and, I would like to give suitable examples in ensuing paragraphs.
To commence with, poaching is not a new thing in the modern era. People used to hunt down wild animals for different reasons. For example, in India, the Mughal king named the great Akbar used to take down wild boars to demonstrate his power within the Mughal community. Sometimes it is also done just for fun or as a part of the competition.
Furthermore, in today’s world, humans kill animals for their own requirements and selfishness. In the early 1900s, there was a mass extinction of cheetahs due to their skin which is the prime source of material that can be used for making bags and leather jackets. Additionally, recently the white Rhino was also included on the verge of extinction list due to a mass massacre done by an African tribe and some other hunters just to gain horns that have value in millions of dollars in the black market.
To prevent this, the government should initiate and apply strict laws and regulations against poaching and other illegal activities. The verge of extinction listed animals should be protected and monetarized 24X7 under strict surveillance. Moreover, the importance of animals in the environment should be influenced by the government as a means of numerous campaigns, and programs.
To conclude, as a human, individuals should restrict the process of deforestation to expand their lifestyle and everyone should ban the products that are made up of animal products that indirectly shut down the process of poaching.
