From year to year, lots of animals are in red zone of extinction and unfortunately this line is going up day by day. The rest of the animals are on the endangered list. In order to discuss the solutions of this issue, first we need to deep dive to the reasons.
Firstly, I would like to mention human factors that influence nature’s changes. Wild nature is disappearing, as a result animals can not to exist in this kind of environment. However organizations, NGO’s (Non Government Organization) , public organizations and many more working on this issues with slogans such as “Save Nature”, “Green Piece”, “We are for wild Nature” are staying without any actions just buzzwords. For example, big megapolises like Baku, New York, London are settled on forest zone. According to statistics of ARSC (Azerbaijan Republic Statistical Committee) there were thousands different types of animal such as leopards, lions , different birds, that were very usual in my country in the beginning of 90’s, but now we can not meet any of them that is result of constructions.
Secondly, climate change is also a big problem for this case. Because of this, chionophiles (animals that love winter conditions) can’t survive in places where is not snowing any more. For instance, in my country, we used to have 3 month snowing winter, but nowadays we have it only 1-3 days at the best case. So, it means this region is not the living place for wild chionophiles.
In my humble opinion, we have to switch from words to action in order to save our nature, specifically animals that are on the endangered list. It shouldn’t be just “cool” words for show off, there should implementation of feasible program supported by government. We all should support and stand for this action and activities.
