In recent years, there has been an ongoing debate regarding whether online shopping is more beneficial rather than visiting physical stores for people’s daily needs. Although this development has certain drawbacks, I firmly believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because online shopping is very convenient and offers a great deal of benefits for their customers.
One of the primary advantages of this trend is that online shopping is accessible at any time regardless of day or night, which is one of the best features for online customers. Due to this accessibility it has improved the quality of life for online users, and they can view a lot of details about online products in order to attract more buyers. Therefore, they can easily read feedback about the product quality whether it is worth to buy at a given price, leading to saving money to buy any low quality items if reviews are negative.
Moreover, users do not need to visit any counters or shops instead they can use online platforms using the internet, allowing them to buy products without any physical demand. As online shopping apps, such as Flipkart, Amazon and Meesho, have features like price comparison, users can compare prices from various platforms and choose the one website, which offers the highest discount. For example, in many Asian countries, like India and China, people prefer to buy things when they are at a lower price or having any discount coupon. Consequently, shopping form online platforms offers deals, specifically on occasions or festivals, as people usually get attracted when they see things that have discounts on them.
On the other hand, one significant disadvantage is that rarely customers do receive defective items and on that thing their is no return back, so they do not have choice in this kind of matter. As a result, that lack of features leaves an upsetting impression on individuals, and they post negative reviews about online shopping. For instance, many customers complained about these type issues; however, numerous brands did not even reply to that kind of problem, as due to this they had a bad experience using online apps.
In conclusion, despite certain negative effects, I strongly believe that benefits of using online shopping are more significant than the drawbacks, particularly in terms of availability and price comparison.
