Nowadays, many teenagers are going to another country in order to study. In my opinion it has both positives and negatives, which will discussed in below.
Today, in our intensifying world going abroad, in a bit to pursue higher education is becoming prevalent, especially economically prosperous and technologically savvy countries like the USA or United Kingdom. From a positive standpoint, studying in an abroad serves as a powerful catalyst for higher education. If school graduates study in another country, they can get better knowledge from subject specialists or professors, thereby enhancing future career prospects. As a result, students can work well-paid jobs and can live high standard of living, reducing stresses caused by over-working. Take my country, for example, students who graduated from overseas universities easily can work in well-paid jobs rather than those who graduated local ones.
On the other hand, from a critical point of view, studying abroad can really drain their wallet. If students study in foreign countries they might face very expensive lifestyle, thereby struggling to meet their ends. As a result, they may have to racking up debts, living paycheck to paycheck, maxing out their credit cards and stressing about bills, ultimately students who, especially low-income or middle-class families resort to seeking multiple jobs, exploring side hustles and working long hours to supplement their income, which inevitably interferes with academic responsibilities and interactions. For example, those who juggle multiple responsibilities often fail to take time out of their busy schedules to participate extra curricular activities and collaborate in group projects, which undermines their academic success and personal growth.
To sum up, although studying abroad has some negatives, its higher education and opportunities after graduating make it more beneficial option. Therefore, many people are choosing studying abroad.
