Nowadays thousands of jobs are available waiting for the write people to join in. Whether for adults or even elderly both are trying their best to work really hard and gain some money. However, the chances of elderly people to find a work that is suitable for their age is kind of difficult and not many companies accept them. I’m going to discuss the problems and solutions in this essay.
There are many issues that is related to the unemployment of elderly people. For example, they are blocking the chances of getting a job because I think that in the past they had the opportunity to work for several years and they need to rest and let new generation take their places. Moreover, because they are reaching an old age, a lot of disease will occur in them such as Alzheimer that affects negatively in approaching other people interacting with them and thinking function.
This issue can be solved by several actions like letting them contribute in restaurants and cafes where they can work as waiters, chefs or even cleaners so that they can communicate with others and being around many people which they can help them reducing their illnesses. Also, they can work independently in many areas such as fishing, selling goods and writing books.
To conclude, there are many elderly people who really like to feel independent and productive that is why they like working. There are many problems, yet solutions are there too to manage their passions and interest without letting competition be as the bad guy.
