There has been a debate whether this is a positive or negative development. From my perspective, this improvement is beneficial since it enables people to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
On the one hand, this, as many people believe can lead to addiction, because people use it without proper thinking. This often results and a lack of critical thinking and excessive reliance on social media, as people depend on the Internet and struggle when it comes to completing task without technology’s intervention.
Nevertheless, the solution of this issue is absolutely feasible if people start to use the Internet sensibly and responsibly. Unlike the overuse of the Internet, this provides more benefits. For instance, when children use the Internet primarily for doing their homework, they will be likely to be unable to complete the assignments without the Internet assistance. I’m some situations, e.g. when confused or for generating ideas, it is totally acceptable. However, fully relying on it has serious drawbacks. It’s better to use it for educational purposes such as exploring information on an interesting topic and etc. Regarding other advantages, this can be a source of income for many individuals when creating content, for example.
In conclusion, insensible usage of the Internet is indeed a negative develop development, although when used wisely, it can offer countless opportunities in terms of completing diverse tasks and projects.
