It is true that the waste of plastic products has become a huge problem in decades, and has significant negative influences on the environment and habitants. I consider that we should introduce certain solutions to address this problem.
The main problem of plastic products is that all these products can not erose automaticely in the nature. Most plastic can retain more than 100 years in the soil, and drift by the wind and ocean. Nowadays scientists can detect the plastic particle around all the world, even in the Antarctic. Additionally, the plastic waste would be mis-eaten by wild animals, which is undiagested in the stomatch and influence their healthy. Consequently, the plastic retained in their body would also impact their reproductions and the bio-system through the food chain. Lastly, the plastic industry would also contanimate the environment, numerous chemical materials are required in this industry and create waste during the produce.
Due to the harmful of plastic products, I believe we should initiate specific actions to prevent these damages. Firstly, governments should introduce new laws to limit the producing and consuming of plastic products, for instance, people should pay for a plastic bag while they purchasing in some countries and plastic taxes can be imposed. Furthermore, governments can promote campaines to encourage the public awareness of environmental protection. Companies and Individuals should also take responsibilities to reduce plastic consumption, companies should reduce their produce packages and we can use our own bags in the supermarket instead of buying a new plastic bag.
In conclusion, the plastic products should be controlled strictly and we can solve these problems eventually.
