Many people argue that population explosion and pollution are the cause that leads to deteriorate quality of cities. There are number of reasons behind the tendency and several solutions should be adopted by the government to improve this solution.
This issue can be explained by two main reasons. The first reason is urbanization. This is because people tend to shift from rural to urban areas in recent years. As a result, this leads to overcrowding and has put serious pressure on the city’s resources and infrastructure. Furthermore, industrializations and modernization are attributed to this situation that leads to deteriorate quality of cities. Over the past few years, industry has rapidly growth, leading to the appearance of more and more factories and enterprises with the number of fumes which eliminated into the environment everyday. Consequently, the environment is serious polluted, resulting in impact on people’s health
However, several solutions could be implemented to tackle this issue. First of which is environmental regulations. The government should impost strict regulations on the manufactoring industry. This is because the factories and enterprises can control the number of fumes which released into the environment. They can use effectively method to protect environment. In addition, the government should change citizen’s cognitive about the vital role of environmental protection, spreading green life and enhance responsible consumption to improve quality of life.
In conclusion, it is clear that there are various reasons for the increasingly deteriorating quality of cities, and steps need to be taken by the government to tackle this problem. It can be predicted with these suggested measures, this issue would be alleviated in the next 10 years.
