Some researchers indicates that characteristics we are born with have much more influence on a personality and development than the experiences we have in our lifetime. I am of the opinion that the experiences we come across in life is what influence a person’s character more than the characteristics with which we have been born.
On the one hand, the genetics play a vital role in the social behaviour of the person such as introverts and extroverts. It is the background with which we are born and bought up decides our social attitude. Genes are responsible for qualities like honesty and soft heartness. But it is also responsible for other attitude like aggression and short teencounter
On the other hand, other life experiences plays a remarkable role in fostering their behaviour. The life experiences we encounter during our life place an important role deciding our personality. It is evident from the life story of Sri Buddha. Being born in a royal family he came across all the happiness but when he came to know about the sufferings of other people,he decided to run away from his home and decided to live and help people who suffer. His life story highlights the idea that, certain life experience can bring about a change in one’s life.
I conclude by highlighting the main idea that it is not always the surroundings which we are born carve attitude. But there are certain other factors which can greatly influence a change.
