On the one hand, small businesses possess certain unique advantages over large multinational companies, so their closure produces some consequences.First, it is their ability to cater to specific products or services demanded by the community given their heightened awareness of local needs.For example, local restaurants understand local ingredients such as culinary tradition and excelling in crafting dishes that suit local tastes, the opposite was true for multinational fast-food chains often overlook.Moreover, small businesses play a vital role in supporting and strengthening local communities.Their primary customer base comprises local residents so these enterprises actively participate in local events sponsor youth sports teams and contribute to charitable causes as a means of giving back and gaining valuable publicity. In contrast multinational corporations with their global focus often exhibit a lack of commitment to community engagement in the regions where they operate.
