Education is crucial for the positive transformation of society. It is often argued that without good education and awareness, society cannot be changed. In my opinion, I fully believe this statement because with a good education, individuals can understand equality and justice. Additionally, it is also key for getting good employment.
One major aspect of a fine education is that it teaches equality and fairness. Education does not simply improve understanding of words, numbers and knowledge of their surroundings, but it also helps us to see everyone equally and respectfully. In the current situation, schools and other educational institutions consider academic marks as a priority and they do not care much about discipline, righteousness and equality, so even with a degree, people are not well-mannered. For instance, in southern part of Nepal, specifically in Karnali province, there is caste discrimination and discrimination regarding wealth. Although they are now literate, they are not well-educated because their schooling taught them to pass exams, not to question caste or wealth hierarchies. So, if we want our society to grow and prosper, then we must teach well, which is key for the positive development of the country and even of mankind.
Moreover, for the growth of society, people need a job, which provides an income. With a good education and skill, people can find a job quite easily. Education does not mean only what we learn or get on a marksheet or gradesheet; it is also the knowledge and skills we get from outside the school. With these skills and knowledge, people can work either independently or within some companies. For example, in a densely populated city like Kathmandu, there are many job opportunities and a lot of competition; here people with relevant skills and a good education are rarely unemployed but people without education and who are not well-educated have rising unemployment. Therefore, with standard education and skills, the unemployment problem can be reduced so that society can grow faster on a positive trajectory.
In conclusion, I completely believe that with good education society will surely grow faster by allowing better employment opportunities and by teaching equality and prosperity to individual.
