The rapid advancements in AI threatens to supplant human labour in many industries.I strongly believe that traditional workforce require human qualities that Ai cannot displace and use of automated technologies has an environmental cost.
The primary reason for my opinion is numerous sectors require direct human intelligence and involvement. For instance,in medicine machine learning algorithms less possible to render surgeons.A robot can follow a plan, but a human must pivot when an unexpected emergency occurs.Lack of true human clinical intuition make them unable to substitute.Although Ai will not entirely replace human surgeons, but will fundamentally change how surgery is performed.
The widespread adoption of AI may have adverse environmental consequences, driven primarily by soaring energy consumption, billions of water for colling, rapidly growing electronic waste.Advanced technology rely on constant liquid colling, exacerbating regional water scarcity in vulnerable areas.Consequently, the development and use of AI can consume significant energy and natural resources.
In conclusion,I firmly disagree that artificial intelligence will lead to widespread displacement a substantial portion of sectors. This is mainly because many roles require human enforcement, yet their operational undergo profound changes.Nevertheless, this digital transformation should not blur our minds to its exacts a severe ecological toll.
