In view of various companies, there is a shortage of interpersonal skills, including cooperative skills between workers. As far as I am concerned, numerous compelling factors contribute to this trend, particularly doing work from home. To mitigate these issues, arranging group meetings and physical presence in the business are highly beneficial.
To begin with, operating work from home is considered as one of the predominant issues which generates the reduction of interpersonal skills in colleagues at workplace. More specifically, if workers do whole work from their home only instead of going to the office regularly then they do not get a chance to engage with other employees. Furthermore, they also attend their business meetings, presentations on online platforms and do not share their opinions with other workers by joining them in their office. Therefore, numerous new employees are facing the challenges with the basic interpersonal skills in various businesses.
To alleviate these challenges, organizing group meetings and presentations at workplace can act as an effective remedy for many new workers to enhance their cooperative abilities. More precisely, by attending group conversations, new workers not only share their opinions with other colleagues and seniors but also learn multiple new business ideas and ways of communication from them. Additionally, many companies have their own regulations which allow employees to do work from their homes only for two or three working days and other days they have to show their physical presence at work. Due to this, the basic abilities, such as interpersonal, cooperative, and communication level increase between the office workers.
On the whole, although several abovementioned factors, particularly doing work from home creates a lack of basic skills between workers, organizing group meetings and showing physical presence at work can become highly advantageous to enhance these skills at workplace.
