It is argued that few children use their mobile phones most of the time. This is because, at a young age, they sometimes do not need permission to use them. I firmly believe that technology has both positive and negative effects; however, its impact ultimately depends on the user.
Many working parents buy phones for their children as a form of companionship because they cannot spend enough time with them. Consequently, children often resort to watching videos or playing games on their mobile devices. Furthermore, the lack of playgrounds makes minors more addicted to their phones. For instance, in Japan, only about 5% of spaces are designated as playgrounds due to the development of skyscrapers. As a result, young people are becoming increasingly dependent on their cell phones.Apart from this, development has numerous negative impacts, although it also offers some benefits. The effects depend on how users employ their smartphones. Some minors use their phones in positive ways, such as attending live classes and learning new skills like programming. Nevertheless, others spend their time solely playing games or watching videos, leading to an obsession with these activities. As a result, it can be argued that the impact varies from person to person.
In conclusion, using mobile phones can be beneficial, but overuse is a curse for young people. To address the issue of overuse, authorities should increase the availability of spaces for outdoor sports, such as football. This will enhance both their physical and mental health.
