Nowadays, in many countries, it is common to regulate the amount of work hours due to the low. In my view, this created to prevent an exploitation of people in the interests of some companies, therefore it should give a positive feedback.
The main reason the average workday is limited by law is that employers could take advantage. In the past there were a lot of examples such kind of violations. In the Middle century and the New time it was described in many romans and poems. For instance, the French roman “Germinal” describes oppressive atmosphere for the miners that should work 15-20 hours hard without persistent payment. They do not have money even to buy a peace of the bread. This story shows that injustice should stop by law, otherwise the government could not break this system.
Limiting a person’s working laws is beneficial both for workers and employers. If people have time for themselves, they work more productive, because they had time for relaxing, eating and other basic needs. However, in countries of the third world illegal exploitation of human and child labor still flourishes. For example, it is well-known fact that some internet-shops using their anonymity in the social media hire people for toil without possibility to quit or retire. People are forced to take vacations and family visits because they are afraid that the low will not help them. In comparison with countries with the strict law, employers there more unhappy and do not have opportunity to develop their skills in the other spheres.
To sum up, today regulation of workday is actual because people should have time for their own things, hobbies, families and other. It is really important to explain the employees that a rested worker is a useful worker.
