There is an debate regarding when children should begin learning foreign language. Some think that it is better to begin learning at primary school, and advantages of it outweigh the disadvantages.
According to some experts, taking knowledge of second language is better for youngers to begin study non-native language, because children’s brain better at acquiring new language and more concentrated on it. Learning new language in primary school help children to improve problem-solving, fast memory and it is easy to adapt on that language at early years of life. On the other hand, there are many disadvantages such as extra stress and introduction of new language can be confusing and might be reason to reduced time to another crucial subjects. In school, there are a plethora of crucial subjects such as math, native language, writing and reading, by adding taking knowledge of foreign language increase the stress and frustration. Some researchers proved that children are lack of self discipline and motivation and learning new skills might seem difficult and can be reason of depression and anxiety.In conclusion, early language awareness in primary school is beneficial and advantages of it outweigh disadvantages of acquiring non-native language, because awareness in early age of children is more successful.
